Belief Statement

Statement of Belief
We Believe in…

Love

We believe in unity. “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40).

The Bible

We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures. “Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live. The Scriptures train God’s servants to do all kinds of good deeds.” (2Tim. 3:16-17).

The Triune God

We believe in one Lord God Almighty, who has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Salvation

We believe that “if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Rom. 10:9).

Eternal Life

We believe in the everlasting blessedness of the saved who are in Christ. “God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” (1John5:11)

The Church

We believe that we, though many, are one body in Christ (Romans 12:3-8)

The Great Commission

We believe that each of us are responsible for the spreading the Christian message. “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Spiritual Clarity

We believe that the vision should be plainly written. “Then the Lord told me: ”I will give you my message in the form of a vision. Write it clearly enough to be read at a glance”. (Habakkuk 2:2)

Missions

We believe it to be the responsibility of the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ to plant His church among all nations. “Jesus was kind to me and chose me to be an apostle, so that people of all nations would obey and have faith”. (Rom. 1:5)
